Research suggests that one of the greatest predictors of positive outcome in therapy is therapeutic alliance—where the client feels safe, respected, and understood. It allows for deeper work, emotional risk-taking, and long-term growth. In addition to this, is the method.
Individual Therapy for Adults, In Office & Virtually in NC
I provide one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to meet you where you are and support you in moving toward where you want to be. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or seeking deeper self-understanding and recovery, therapy offers a safe, supportive space for growth. Clients are typically seen weekly or every other week, with session frequency gradually decreasing as progress is made and readiness to transition out of therapy becomes clear.

Training and Treatment Approach
I have received extensive training and professional consultation in the treatment of trauma and other emotional and mental health challenges. While I am trained in cognitive and behavioral therapy models, my approach is primarily guided by the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, which I find to be particularly effective in fostering deeper emotional healing- especially when addressing trauma and complex emotional wounds. I am committed to a process of ongoing advanced training and consultation in this area.

My Therapeutic Style
I’ve been described as having a gentle style that’s balanced with an empowering presence. I see my role as a guide—walking alongside clients as they navigate the process of healing and growth in a way that feels supportive and attuned to their needs.
While I bring clinical training, experience, and a range of therapeutic tools to my work, I hold a deep respect for each person’s lived experience and wisdom. I believe clients are the experts on themselves, and I approach therapy as a collaborative process grounded in trust, curiosity, and compassion.
